The Porsche Boxster first hit the road in 1996 and was Porsche’s first road vehicle to be designed as a roadster since the 914. With 2 seats, rear-wheel-drive and a mid-mounted engine, the little sportscar was instantly recognised as one of the best handling roadsters on the market.
This Boxster S is powered by a 3.2 litre flat 6 engine mated to a manual gearbox and finished in a stunning and very rare ‘Rainforest Green’ metallic with Turbo style wheels and black leather seats and trim. The hood has been replaced with upgraded skin and heated glass screen (2004 spec replacing plastic screen). Additional maintenance includes front suspension replacement struts plus bushes all round, air con pump/condensers/pipework, an uprated water pump, replacement clutch assembly, uprated coolant expansion tank/pipework, replacement drive shaft gaiters, and replacement power steering hoses. Other expected maintenance includes replacement of discs/pads, handbrake shoes, thermostat, alternator, and engine drive belt.
All of this work is well documented along with the full service history that comes with this exceptional vehicle. The Porsche Boxster S remains one of the best performing and handling sportscars even by today’s standards.
