Well Driven is delighted to offer a rare opportunity for someone to buy a truly exceptional example of the Porsche 911 Targa. This particular vehicle is a 1986 3.2 manual model that has undergone an extensive and well-documented restoration and “backdate” to pay homage to the 2.7 MFI RS from the 1970s. Featuring the stainless T bar roof, black leather seats with original Houndstooth inserts, carpet, doorcards and badges.
The car has been fully stripped back to bare metal and restored along with a full engine strip and rebuild. During the restoration, all the gaskets, pipes, seals etc had been replaced along with new suspension components and a reconditioned 915 gearbox fitted. The underside of the car has also been fully stripped and strengthened and undersealed. The car has also benefitted from some genuine Porsche old-stock Fuchs wheels and a Porsche classic stereo.
This car is in truly fantastic condition and looks and drives like it just rolled off the production line. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new custodian to purchase one of the finest examples of this iconic sports car on the market today. As stated before, this car comes with a full-service history along with extensive documentation of its full and thorough restoration.
